SMMT LGBTQ+ and Allies Workshop

Following a successful workshop in 2023, SMMT would like to bring together the LGBTQ+ Groups within our member organisations and provide an opportunity to share best practice and experiences this time taking place in Birmingham. To promote the diverse workforce that work within the automotive industry and demonstrate it is a welcoming environment for all. This year we will have industry speakers from Volkswagen and DAF Trucks as well as LGBTQ+ training provider Queerify to deliver a workshop.
Industry speakers’ workshop – SMMT Members experience in setting up and running an LGBTQ+ Group and living and working as a transgender person.
