UK car manufacturing dipped -1.0% in October, ending a 14-month run of growth for the industry, according to SMMT figures.

Exports of British-built commercial vehicles (CVs) jumped by more than a third last year, with almost nine in 10 destined for EU countries, according to figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT)

The first companies signed up to participate in June’s Meet the Buyer event have been confirmed.

SMMT is seeking expressions of interest for its second premium product manufacturers’ event. This year the event will focus on innovative products, and will have a Meet the Buyer session focused on building relationships between premium product manufacturers and premium automotive vehicle manufacturers.
