Virtual box office opens for Motor Show ticket sales

Tickets for the British International Motor Show 2002 are now on sale at the new web site www.motorshow.co.uk. The virtual box office has opened a full 11 months ahead of next year’s Show, providing motor enthusiasts with the perfect Christmas gift idea – and the chance to buy discounted tickets on-line.

Advance prices for the UK’s biggest consumer exhibition start at £12 for adults and £6 for children. For the exclusive preview day on 24 October, tickets are £25. But these savings are only available to visitors who book in advance. Tickets on the door will cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for children, with £40 for preview day.

In the run up to next October, motorshow.co.uk will continue to feature regular news and updates as well as promotions and competitions. As a taster of what’s in store at next year’s Show, the site also features an exclusive Motor Show screensaver, free for visitors to download.

More than 300 exhibitors from across the globe will be at Motor Show 2002. As well as major car companies, a range of motoring products and services will be displayed, including in car entertainment, mobile communication and fashion. Drive-in movies and an X-Box© challenge will add to to the excitement in 2002.

The British International Motor Show 2002 takes place from 23 October to 3 November at Birmingham’s NEC with public access from 24 October. The racing theme continues in 2002 with the ever-popular Motor Sport days on Friday 1 November and Saturday 2 November. Formula One, rally and touring cars will be in pole-position with their drivers to deliver the most glamorous displays in the world of racing. Doors open from 9.30am to 7pm on all public days, closing at 5pm on the final day.
