- Trucks up 4.3 per cent for the month and 1.3 per cent for year to date
- Buses down 10.3 per cent for the month and 23.3 per cent over year to date
‘2004 looks very good with commercial vehicle registrations running at a higher rate than last year.’ said Christopher Macgowan, SMMT chief executive. ‘This is very encouraging and bodes well for Europe’s biggest business to business commercial vehicle show, opening at the NEC later this month. It looks like a bumper show in a bumper year on the back of a strong economy.’
