Transport leaders to highlight major innovation challenges in CV sector

The very first Commercial Vehicle Forum will gather leaders from industry, government and academia to debate the most important innovation, sustainability, and safety and security issues facing UK truck operators, to be held on 15 November.

Established by the CV Show partnership, the first forum will bring together some of the most influencial figures in the industry under the theme Innovation in the UK Road Transport industry. Speakers will include Ray Ashworth, DAF Trucks, Andy Boyle, ABE Ledbury, Des Evans, CEO MAN UK, Rob Flello, MP and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Freight Group, and Professor Dame Julia King, Aston University, chaired by broadcaster and journalist, Simon Jack.

The speaker programme will focus on progress being made in the road transport sector to improve efficiencies in the movement of goods, while addressing key safety concerns associated with changing traffic conditions and the road user mix.

The Commercial Vehicle Forum event organised by The CV Show partnership of  SMMT, IRTE Ltd (trading name for the Society of Engineers) and the RHA.
