27 April 2016, Williams F1 Conference Centre, Oxfordshire

SMMT is seeking expressions of interest for its second premium product manufacturers’ event. This year the event will focus on innovative products, and will have a Meet the Buyer session focused on building relationships between premium product manufacturers and premium automotive vehicle manufacturers.

The event will feature a seminar session, exhibition area and a number of one-to-one, introductory meetings between potential suppliers and representatives from OEM purchasing departments. Attendees are expected from a number of OEMs including Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Toyota, Nissan, Aston Martin and Bentley.

With involvement from SMMT, Niche Vehicle Network (NVN), Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space trade organisation (ADS), the event is part of an Automotive Council initiative aimed at creating a community of specialist UK automotive premium product suppliers.

The seminar session will see speakers from OEMs and industry organisations discuss a variety of industry issues, including the support available for suppliers of low volume premium products and services. Manufacturers are also invited to display their goods and services in the exhibition area, although space is limited.

‘Innovation Stand Up’ sessions will provide potential suppliers with an opportunity to showcase their innovation, conceptual design or new product to a wider audience. These sessions will be conducted with a closed audience of OEM representatives from purchasing, R&D and design engineering.

SMMT is seeking expressions of interest from premium product manufacturers with specific requirements to match to potential suppliers. The information submitted will be used to arrange one-to-one meetings between OEMs and suppliers with a view to future collaboration.

The event is strictly invitation-only, and attending companies must:
