The new Honda Civic has won the prestigious 2006 “North American Car of the Year” award at the Detroit motor show.
The award is made by a group of 49 journalists based in the United States and Canada.It recognises the most outstanding car of the year based on criteria including innovation, design, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value for money.
Honda’s Swindon factory builds all Civic models destined for the UK and mainland European markets.
