The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is urging industry members to take part in an important survey, launched by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), to help influence the future of the ISO 9001 standard.

In reaction to today’s comprehensive spending review, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is encouraged that, whilst challenging decisions had to be taken, government committed to prioritising areas that will generate growth including ultra-low carbon transport and skills.

Following a thorough consultation with the UK motor industry after the cancellation of the 2010 British International Motor Show, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has confirmed that the Show will not be reinstated in 2012.
