Michelin has launched its first nationwide breakdown service with ATS Euromaster at the CV Show.
The new 24/7 service is available to all truck, bus and coach operators that use approved Michelin Certified Centres.
The ONCall breakdown service will draw on the combined strength of its independent Michelin Truck Professional dealers and ATS’s centres meaning it can provide its customers with more than 300 servicing points.
Richard Bezzant, MTP Programme Manager, said, “Operators need the reassurance of a roadside assistance service they can count on in an emergency no matter where the vehicle is, or the time of day or night.”
Fleet operators that utilise ONCall can benefit from competitive fixed pricing, a two-hour response window, 12 month guarantee on all new Michelin tyres fitted, as well as access to its Remix recasing bank and 30-day payment terms.
“We’ve developed Michelin ONCall from the ground up to ensure it combines everything our customers tell us they want from a tyre assistance service in a single package,” added Bezzant. “No job is too big or too small, and our UK-based call centre team will keep the customer informed every step of the way.”
Michelin has said that all payments for use of the ONCall service will be processed centrally, which will ensure that customers are invoiced from their local dealer no matter where the job was carried out.
