This year’s Automechanika Dubai has seen a 19% increase in exhibitors compared to last year. A total of 1,695 exhibitors from nearly 60 countries have attended the international trade show, which opened this week.
Now in its twelfth year, the 2014 exhibition featured the SMMT International UK Pavilion, which showcased 24 UK aftermarket companies. A number of UK exhibitors benefitted from UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme funding, which contributed towards each company’s exhibition fees.
With a growing automotive industry in the Middle East and Africa, Automechanika Dubai plays a crucial role in the region. The exhibition aims to improve the variety of products and services available for the Middle East automotive aftermarket by bringing together manufacturers and suppliers from across the UK.
