News from Scania: The comprehensive package offered by Scania has led to the delivery of a new Scania Irizar i6 coach for Thetford-based Coach Services.
Constructed upon a Euro-5 Scania K 400 EB6x2*4 rear-steer chassis, the 12.9-metre overall length vehicle has 53 seats with three-point seat belts, seat back tables, a centre sunken toilet, drinks machine, climate control air-conditioning, extra tinted side glass and Durabright alloy wheels.
Commenting on the delivery, Coach Services Operations Director Thomas Crawford says, “We were in the market for a 13-metre tri-axle coach and the complete offering from Scania was excellent. The two year repair and maintenance package is superb, especially as the vehicle will be mainly touring throughout Europe.”
The coach is operating on Euroview Coaching’s extensive tour programme, which is wholly-owned by Coach Services Limited.
