Ryder is to supply six high-specification DAF tractor units to nationwide distribution specialist Law Distribution, part of the Palletline network.
The new tractors will be supplied alongside 13 new trailers, and are in addition to a fleet of over 40 vehicles and trailers already leased to Law Distribution by Ryder.
All six tractors are the latest Euro 6 DAF XF480 6×2 Super Spacecab units, supplied on a six-year contract hire basis with a full maintenance package included. Ten of the trailers are SDC-built 13.7m tri-axle curtainsides, with the remaining three completed in double-decker form.
John Law, Transport Manager for Law Distribution, said: “We have been working with Ryder since 1994. They have supported our continued growth and know our business well and what we are looking for from our vehicle fleet. These latest DAF tractor units come with improved fuel efficiency, which was a major consideration for us. Our vehicles run extensively long routes and are worked extremely hard, so having the right vehicles is key. Ryder also provides the extensive nationwide service coverage and back up that we need to ensure we maximise uptime and efficiency.”
