L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage has taken delivery of 17 new trucks from MV Commercial to accelerate its fleet expansion programme.
The order includes eight DAF CF 450 8×4 tippers fitted with Fruehauf tipping bodies, two Scania P410 8x4s with Thompsons tipper bodies and five Volvo FMX 420 8x4s, also with tipper bodywork from Thompsons.
They join the company’s FORS Gold accredited 140-strong fleet, together with two Scania G450 8×2 rigids, each mounted with Sterling Group plant bodies featuring Cheesewedge fold-forward ramps and Hiab 558 EP-5 cranes.
The vehicles, based at Lynch’s headquarters in Hemel Hempstead and depots around Birmingham, will transport materials and aggregates throughout the UK as well as doing on-site work.
L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage, established in 1980, provides nationwide operated and self-drive plant hire and haulage and transport services to the construction industry, serving the civil engineering, public utilities and highways maintenance sectors.
It is the first time the company has sourced vehicles from MV Commercial.
Stephen Bremner, Fleet Director at Lynch, said: “These vehicles are important additions to the fleet, helping our customers meet ever more demanding delivery schedules.
“Our business is rapidly growing and we needed to refresh and expand our fleet. MV Commercial met the requirements and timescales for the vehicles we needed.
“Amid the challenges around limited stocks and supplies in the UK market, MV Commercial has definitely delivered on its promises and that was so important in enabling us to meet our customers’ demands.”
