Hungary has a substantial automotive sector, with manufacturers including VW, BMW and Mercedes all having local plants. Almost 400,000 vehicles were produced in Hungarian factories in 2021.

- 9 May – Delegation arrives, briefing and networking reception at the British Ambassador’s Residence
- 10 May – Visit Automotive Hungary supported by automotive industry bodies MAJOSZ and MAGE, and investment agency HIPA
- 11 May – Site visits (companies to be confirmed) and return to the UK. Delegates may optionally stay on for more time at the Automotive Hungary show.

About MAJOSZ / MAGE / HIPA
MAJOSZ
The Association of Hungarian Automotive Component Manufacturers (MAJOSZ) was founded in April 1993 and currently has a membership of approximately 300, including about 90 service providers as supporting members.
MAGE
The Association of Hungarian Automotive Industry (MAGE) is national professional body-representing the interest of vehicle producers and suppliers. Approximately 60 members are OEMs and TIER1-TIER2 companies.
HIPA
In a one-stop shop service model, the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) provides a wide range of free of charge services for foreign investors from site selection to tailor-made incentive offers and much more.
HIPA gathers the information needed for decision-making, mediates between government and your business, helps you identify suitable local suppliers, and supports your further expansion plans.
