Demand for new cars in the EU increased for a 20th consecutive month in April 2015, with registrations growing 6.9%.

Automotive manufacturers are asking supply chain employers to support an industry wide skills survey, to help ensure the skilled workforce needed to boost the proportion of vehicle components manufactured in this country.

This weekend begins the 100-day countdown to the official launch of the strictest-ever European vehicle emissions regulation, Euro-6. From 1 September 2015, all new car models sold in the EU must meet this low emissions standard, making them the cleanest vehicles in history.
