SMMT has announced its Presidential line-up for 2015. The new President, taking office from 1 January, will be Gareth Jones, Managing Director of ebm-papst Automotive and Drives UK, a German-owned global manufacturing company.

Today, SMMT released figures for October pre-registrations in the UK new car market.

A UK-designed, Formula 1-inspired energy recovery system for buses has taken first prize in the prestigious SMMT Award for Automotive Innovation 2014.
