The message of InterTyre 2001 is being broadcast throughout
the world. The trade’s newest exhibition is now the subject of a full colour
advertisement campaign that is targeting 17 overseas countries including Canada,
Russia, South Africa, the USA and most European nations. The advertisement rightly
points out that the exhibition and the concurrent European Automotive Trade
Show 2001 will be ‘Be the largest automotive trade show to be held in the UK.’
Even before the campaign had got under way, exhibitors and
visitors for the two shows had pledged their support from as far apart as Australia,
China, Russia, South America, and Taiwan as well as many European countries.
InterTyre 2001 promises to be the largest gathering of products
relevant to the tyre industry to be held in the UK for many years. Leading international
tyre manufacturers like Continental, Cooper-Avon, Lassa and Toyo, not to mention
Russia’s second largest such company, Yaroslavl, are being joined by the country’s
top tyre distributors for this trend setting event.
Names like Kings Road Tyres, Micheldever, Stapletons Tyre Services
and Viking International indicate the variety that will be on show.
InterTyre 2001, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders’
newest exhibition, is set to become the UK’s premier tyre industry show. It
takes place at the NEC, Birmingham between 29 April and 2 May 2001
