Car production decline slows as export numbers grow
Production figures released today by the Office for National Statistics show that:
- Car production in July 2001 fell by 7.3 per cent
- Car production YTD 2001 fell by 16.8 per cent
- Car exports in July 2001 rose by 4.1 per cent
