PSA Peugeot Citroen President Jean-Martin Folz has been announced
as the guest of honour at the SMMT Centenary Annual Dinner to be held on 26
November 2002 in London.
The theme for the event, which attracts nearly 1,000 senior
industry executives, will be ‘The Challenge of Competition’, and will address
issues across the sector from the aftermarket through vehicle and component
manufacturing, international development and retail sales.
Christopher Macgowan, SMMT Chief Executive, said, ‘We are
delighted to have a global industry leader as our guest of honour at what is
one of the main events in SMMT’s centenary year. The keynote speech at this
year’s event will provide not only an overview of the challenges ahead, but
also some of the possible solutions to address them.
‘The SMMT Centenary Annual Dinner provides a unique forum
in the automotive calendar, bringing together all sectors of our industry and
offering a platform for discussion and debate as well as being the catalyst
for many business deals which are arranged at such events.’
Tickets are now available for the event which will be held
at the London Hilton on Tuesday 26 November 2002.
