CV registrations up 12 per cent – strong start to 2003

• Continues the robust 7.4 per cent growth set at December 2002
• CV registrations confound economic uncertainty
• Light CV registrations up 12.1 per cent on the same month last year
• Truck registrations up 10.5 per cent, mostly over 15 tonners and above
• Fare stage buses up 67.2 per cent, year on year
