Production figures released today by the Office for National Statistics show that:
- Car production in June climbed 37.8 per cent to 155,424 units
- Output for the year-to-date rose 0.7 per cent
- June production for the home market leapt 47.1 per cent
- Output for export grew 33.9 per cent in June
June CV output up 47.3 per cent
- CV production in June 2003 leapt 47.3 per cent
- Year-to-date production climbed 1.6 per cent
- June production for the home market rose 71.1 per cent
- Production for output grew 31 per cent
