SMMT’s international team has launched a new report on business opportunities in the key regional markets of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

The Gulf region offers a range of business possibilities for companies which supply automotive components and aftermarket accessories. A unique combination of factors – high levels of vehicle ownership, the lack of an indigenous industry, and a cultural love of customisation – has created a fertile market for UK companies to explore.

And, with Dubai acting as a major regional transhipment point and trading post, there are additional opportunities to expand business connections into Central Asia and Africa.
