- Full year registrations at 385,969 units, down one per cent on 2004
- December registrations down six per cent on same period last year
- Total CV growth past its recent peak, but heavy trucks do well
‘Commercial vehicle registrations in 2005 just missed the record set in 2004,’ said Christopher Macgowan, SMMT chief executive. ‘But the total is still one of the highest for many years and increasing domestic and Eurozone business confidence suggests that 2006 will be another good year for the industry.’
