Motor Show boosts Peugeot sales

Peugeot has said it is delighted with the quality of customer feedback from this year’s motor show. Thousands of customer leads were taken on the stand at the show and these are now being fed through Peugeot’s dealer network nationwide.

If July’s sales figures are anything to go by, it’s already paying off. Despite a 4.2 per cent downturn in the market overall, Peugeot’s sales grew by three per cent, with an overall increase in market share too.

The new 207 – a head turner at London ExCeL – has also had a storming July. For the first time it overtook the 206 in the sales league, formerly the company’s best selling car. The re-styled 307 also increased sales compared to last July.
