Low carbon research seminar in January
SMMT Foresight Vehicle is organising a two-day seminar entitled “Low Carbon Vehicle Power Systems” to be held on 14 and 15 January at the MIRA engineering centre in
The first day will deal with advanced and conventional batteries and alternative forms of storage. A second seminar addressing how different power systems are deployed in low carbon vehicles will be held on the following day. Products to be discussed will include those from major vehicle manufacturers, converters and niche suppliers.
The afternoon workshops on both days will encourage networking opportunities and generate research proposals. The objective is to stimulate research and innovation in the field of energy storage for a variety of low-carbon vehicle types.
