Organisers of this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show and Workshop 2011 are pleased to announce that the attendance figure for this year’s event has been confirmed at 16,137 visitors*.
The breakdown of attendees is:
UK visitors: 15,403
International visitors: 734
“The atmosphere at this year’s Show across all the sectors represented was one of optimism”, said Geoff Dunning, Chief Executive of one of the Show’s three Partner organisations, the Road Haulage Association.
“Based on last year’s Show, the forecast attendance for this year was between 12,000 and 15,000 so to have over 16,000 visitors is tremendous news. The UK road freight industry has always been an accurate barometer for the rest of the economy and these figures provide conclusive proof that the UK road freight sector really IS on the road to recovery.”
The next Commercial Vehicle Show will take place from 24-26 April 2012. Get the dates in your diary now!
The Commercial Vehicle Show is owned by the CV Show LLP, comprising the Road Haulage Association, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and IRTE Services Ltd, the trading company of the SOE (Society of Operations Engineers).
