Cenex, the UK’s first centre of excellence for low carbon and fuel cell technologies, has revealed the leading automotive figures who will address delegates at LCV2012 and the key themes that will be covered at the two-day event on 5 and 6 September.
Showcasing the UK’s low and ultra-low carbon R&D and innovation capabilities, LCV2012 will gather expert automotive representatives from government, industry and academia to cover a range of key themes on UK automotive’s low-carbon agenda. Discussions will include the development of the UK automotive supply chain and presentations on the very latest technology trends.
Business Minister, Mark Prisk will deliver the opening address to delegates, followed by speeches focused on key issues such as the innovation and low carbon growth opportunities. SMMT Chief Executive, Paul Everitt will discuss global investment in UK automotive innovation, with other sessions concentrating on the future of e-Mobility and the work of the Automotive Council, as well as investigating the major policy initiatives that will help drive this emerging market.
