Automotive Insulations, which manufactures thermal and acoustic insulation for vehicles, has invested in a new 65,000 sq. ft. premises to accommodate its expanding workforce, following a period of unprecedented growth in the UK and Europe.
Due to open in spring 2014, the company will employ around 200 people at the new headquarters, which is located within the ‘Golden Triangle’ in Warwickshire, an established commercial and distribution centre.
Automotive Insulations, a major supplier to Jaguar Land Rover, celebrated its most successful year in 2013, and has moved the current factory to 24 hour working, to meet demand.
The three acre site will include a large factory space and two storey offices to almost triple the space that Automotive Insulations currently has.
Cameras have been set up at the building site of the new headquarters, creating a mini movie of the ongoing construction process at the Warwickshire site.
The solar powered cameras will record the site 24 hours a day, and broadcast live via the developer’s website: www.hamdongate.reachtimelapse.co.uk/rugby/.
