Fferm Ffactor winner Pugh picks up Isuzu D-Max prize

News from Isuzu: Gwenno Pugh, the first female farmer to be crowned winner of Wales’ hugely popular farming reality show Fferm Ffactor, has been presented with her brand-new Isuzu D-Max from RJ Williams Limited, based in Porthmadog.

Pugh, 28 and who farms sheep, cattle and pigs in Talsarnau, Gwynedd, won the grand prize of an Isuzu D-Max Yukon 4×4 pick-up, beating her fellow finalists in the series finale held at the Anglesey Showground in Mona, on the Isle of Anglesey, in December 2013.

The prize pick-up features a high-level of standard equipment including cruise control, air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, side steps, remote central locking with alarm, surround sound audio system,  as well as high-visibility projector headlamps and LED rear light clusters.

“I didn’t expect this at all,” said Gwenno Pugh. “I was hoping to become the first female contestant to reach the final but to go one extra step and actually win is an unbelievable feeling. It’s been an unforgettable journey and such a privilege to become the first woman to win Fferm Ffactor – I look forward to using my new Isuzu D-Max every day.”

The series’ judges praised Gwenno’s performances, Professor Wynne Jones commenting: “Gwenno has been a strong contender throughout the series, she has come out on top regularly in the various challenges, and has finished the series in style.”
