Renault has pulled the wraps from its new Trafic, the van co-developed with Vauxhall which also unveiled its Luton-built Vivaro version today.
The new Traffic also goes on sale this summer but will be built at Renault’s Sandouville facility in France following €230 million of investment in the facility.
It incorporates a bigger, more upright Renault logo and shares the same striking lines as the Vivaro.
There are 270 variants thanks to two different heights, two different lengths and panel van, crew-van, platform cab and passenger options as well as a host of bodybuilder and Renault Tech creations.
The 1.6-litre engines are shared with the Vivaro, the standard turbocharged unit providing 15% better fuel economy and the twin turbo option returning 47% on the combined cycle.
