GT Radial is displaying its new steer axle tyre, the GSR225 Combi Road, at the 2014 CV Show. Tailored for a combination of short- and long-haul operations, the tyre features advanced tread compounds for a greater mileage – as well as a wider tread to improve handling in wet and dry conditions.
The GSR225 is available in 295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5 guises, with 275/70R22.5 and 315/60R22.5 variants set for launch shortly.
Also making its debut is the new GDR690 GT REE Tread tyre, a regional drive axle tyre available in 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22 forms. The retread is designed to limit the environmental impact of used casings.
The GAM831 is another new offering from the firm, and is a non-directional, all-position tyre for mixed service applications. It features an extra-reinforced sidewall providing protection against damage and impacts.
