Leisure firms snap up new Scania OmniExpress coaches

News from Scania:  Both Milton Keynes-based Omega Travel Limited and North Wales operator Dyserth, have taken delivery of five new Scania OmniExpress

Omega Travel has taken delivery of three Scania OmniExpress tri-axle coaches, with the new vehicles joining two purchased last year and two further vehicles of identical specification are due to be delivered in early summer. This will take the company’s purchase of Scania OmniExpress coaches over the last 12 months to seven units.

It’s Scania OmniExpress 14.1-metre overall length bodies come with full executive features including 63 deluxe half-leather passenger seats, Bosch audio visual equipment, zoned climate control, two powered doors, washroom, servery and fridge.

Omega Travel has chosen Scania again to be its provider of front-line touring coaches because of its specification, capacity and value for money, together with the convenience and reassurance of the manufacturer’s repair and maintenance package provide the confidence the company requires.

Dyserth has taken delivery of two new Scania K 400 OmniExpress 36 coaches, equipped with its 400bhp Euro 5 engine, the vehicles’ K 400 EB 4×2 chassis also feature the latest generation of fully automated Opticruise gear selection system.

Both vehicles are 12.8-metres in length and have 53 reclining seats, a centre sunken toilet, drinks machine, three-point seatbelts, extra dark tined glass, climate control air conditioning and Durabright alloy wheels.

Director Martin Higginson comments, “We were really impressed with the total package that was on offer with the Scania OmniExpress.  In addition the vehicles’ specification, this included Scania’s two year repair and maintenance package, the full backing of its national and international dealer network and a sales team that genuinely understands a coach operator’s needs.”
