Bentley is one of four UK firms engaging in the ‘Girls Engineering the Future’ project, supported by government. The project is specifically developed for teenage girls, and has been carefully designed to inspire and guide students into a career that they can be passionate about. The automotive industry has historically been a male-dominated environment, and changing this perception is integral to encouraging talented young women to pursue careers in engineering. Currently expanding across schools in the local area, the end goal of the project is to get more young women onto a Bentley apprenticeship scheme and play their part in developing the Bentleys of the future.
