Powered by a 400hp engine, the vehicle comes with 57 reclining seats, a centre sunken toilet, a drinks machine, seatbelts, extra dark tinted glass, reverse camera, climate control, air-conditioning and Durabright alloy wheels.
Director Paul Winson said, “We chose the Scania Irizar i6 as the vehicle certainly has the wow factor we were looking for in a new vehicle. Furthermore, we have received excellent service to date from everyone concerned at Scania.”
Wolverhampton-based operator, Hills Coaches has taken delivery of a new Scania K 320 Irizar i-Skool coach. The vehicle is equipped with 70 seats with three-point “all age” seatbelts, climate control air-conditioning and extra dark tinted glass.
Director Darran Hill adds, “We had two new Scania Irizar coaches in 2013 and have been very pleased with how they have performed. We also look at maintenance costs very closely for all types of vehicles in our fleet, and the two years repair and maintenance contract that comes included with the new Scania coaches makes them a great, cost effective vehicle.”
