Fuel security firm TISS Ltd has been honoured at a royal reception at Buckingham Palace in celebration of their achievement in winning the 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

TISS’ Managing Director, Ryan Wholey, and Commercial Director, Matthew Rose met with the Queen at a special Champagne reception on 14th which was also attended by other members of the Royal Household and other Queen’s Award winning companies.

TISS Ltd won the coveted award for their exceptional growth in International Trade which has seen export sales rise from 13% to 45% of the Company’s turnover in just 3 years, primarily due to their market-leading TankSafe ‘Impregnable’ Fuel Security and Safety Device – the only security device that completely prevents any siphoning, skimming and overfilling.

Speaking following the reception, Ryan Wholey said: “It was a real honour to be invited to Buckingham Palace and a fantastic experience to have the opportunity to personally chat to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. Both seemed genuinely impressed with our award winning range of fuel security and safety devices and thrilled to hear the positive impact the Award has had for TISS.”
