News from Citroën: Effective from 1 September, Citroën is making a multi-million pound investment in its specialist-bodied LCV stock to further improve Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) customer service for tippers, dropsides and Luton vans.

To significantly reduce the delivery times of these most popular conversions, Citroën is investing £2,371,700 in an additional 100 ready-bodied New Relay Specialist Models. These models will join the already extensive new LCV stock held across the unique Citroën Business Centre network.

The 100 additional new Relay Specialist Models being added to Business Centre stockholding throughout the UK from September include:

  • 40 x New Relay 35 L2 HDi 130 6-speed manual Tipmaster-bodied Tippers @ £23,735 + VAT
  • 30 x New Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 6-speed manual Ingimex-bodied Dropside trucks@£22,440 + VAT
  • 30 x New Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 6-speed manual Buckstone-bodied Luton vans @ £24,970 + VAT

These competitively priced ready-bodied New Relay Specialist Models are covered by Citroën’s two-year/unlimited mileage or three-year/100,000 mile factory warranty for both the chassis and the conversion bodywork. New Relay Specialist Models can also be acquired on attractive Citroën Contract Motoring (CCM) contract hire terms from just £289 + VAT, per month.

Jeremy Smith, Citroën’s Head of Commercial Vehicles & Business Sector Operations, said, “To maintain the momentum of the successful New Relay launch, we are now putting increased emphasis on new Relay Specialist Models and Ready to Run conversions, which are increasingly in demand from our growing SME customer base. Whether it’s a new Relay Specialist Model or a Ready to Run conversion, the same high quality converters are used in every case to provide the most efficient and productive ready-bodied vehicle to suit a wide variety of transport operations.”
