News from Isuzu: For the last three years, HRVS in Sheffield has been a successful parts and service dealer for leading truck manufacturer, Isuzu Truck UK in South Yorkshire.
However recently, the company has been upgraded to full Isuzu Truck dealership status, with the addition of a dedicated Isuzu Truck sales department at the Sheffield based dealership.
According to Keith Sims, Group Operations Director at HRVS Ltd, “The timing of this announcement is ideal, coinciding with the recent introduction by Isuzu Truck UK of its latest Euro-6 truck range. To support this move, we have appointed two dedicated Isuzu Truck sales personel to develop further sales of the marque in the South Yorkshire region. Very quickly, this has proved to be a successful move as we have already picked up several new confirmed orders for trucks within days of the announcement.”
Heading up the Isuzu Truck sales department at HRVS is Sales Manager Jason Dawson, who is supported by Salesman Carl Street.
Also, as part of the uprating to full dealership status, HRVS has commissioned a selection of demonstration trucks, including one of the recently launched new 7.5 tonne Isuzu Urban Euro-6 4×2 rigids which Keith Sims believes will have particular appeal locally.
Sims says, “Sheffield is home to a large number of parcel carriers and home delivery companies. The Isuzu Urban is an ideal specification for this type of inner city operation so we are forecasting that this demonstrator will prove to be extremely popular with local businesses.”
