News from Dennison Trailers: Dennison Trailers Ltd has recently supplied its largest ever Scottish sales order to John Mitchell Haulage & Warehousing of Grangemouth.

The deal coincides with Dennison’s 50th anniversary in business and consists of 90 trailers delivered in batches between June and August this year. The new group includes 60 sliding skeletals and 12 fixed skeletals, which are complemented by some tipping skeletals in the shape of five 30 ft fixed and one 20 ft sliding bogie.

A further dozen 13.6m curtainside trailers were also included in the order. These feature redesigned side pillars and wind deflector front panels. The curtainside group are finished in John Mitchell’s signature white and maroon livery, alongside some in the dedicated colours of a long-standing customer.

Iain Mitchell, Managing Director of John Mitchell Haulage & Warehousing specified the Dennison trailers with SAF drum brake axles for ease of maintenance. Knorr-Bremse EBS braking systems, Aspock LED lights and Michelin tyres were also opted for on the 90 trailers, which were all constructed at Dennison’s Lancaster factory.

The order, which in one fell swoop renews almost half of the total John Mitchell Haulage & Warehousing trailer fleet, has reduced the average age to around two years. “We have been buying Dennison trailers for over 17 years now. The excellent product quality and solid performance levels are matched by good value for money and strong residuals,” noted Mitchell adding, “the team at Dennison also work in partnership with us extremely well.”

James Dennison, Managing Director at Dennison Trailers Ltd said, “We were delighted to receive John Mitchell’s order for 90 new Dennison trailers, which continues our long and effective working relationship with the company.
