News from Scania: Laguna Travel from Bournemouth, the coaching arm of the Laguna Hotel business, has this year purchased its first tri-axle touring coach from Scania.
Fitted to the vehicle’s Scania K 400 EB6x2*4 chassis is a 13.9-metre overall length Irizar i6 body which includes 61 passenger seats and a full range of fitments including seatback tables, footrests, dark tinted glass, powered doors and lockers, servery, washroom, refrigerator and Blaupunkt Professional Line audio-video equipment.
The coach has enabled Laguna Travel to offer another alternative travel arrangement for its in-house hotel guest collection service and day trips, plus its ever-expanding external workload.
As with all new Scanias purchased by Laguna Travel in recent years, the coach has been sold including a two-year repair and maintenance programmed managed by Scania’s Poole branch.
Laguna Travel has chosen the Scania/Irizar combination once more because of its strong working relationship enjoyed with both Scania in the south-west and Scania’s Bus and Coach organisation in Worksop.
