News from Scania: Princess Coaches Limited of Southampton has added once again to its fleet by purchasing a new Scania Irizar i6 coach, further strengthening the company’s ties with the product and enhancing its business links with cruise line passenger operations in the south of England.
This latest vehicle is another 13.9-metre executive specification coach built on Scania’s Euro 5 K 400 6×2*4 chassis with the fully-automated Scania Opticruise gear selection system. Once again the operator finds opting for a rear second entrance and floor-mounted washroom creates exceptionally generous luggage space between the axles, thus accommodating the luggage requirements of cruise lines.
Supported by Scania’s Fareham branch, the vehicle benefits from a two-year repair and maintenance programme, which is included as standard.
Princess Coaches Managing Director Pete Brown, says, “Our customer feedback for the Scania Irizar i6 has been fantastic. From an operating point of view, we benefit from a superb local dealership and back up from the Scania network. We now operate 16 Scania/Irizar coaches with a further order being placed for the 2015 season.”
