News from Stoneridge: Stoneridge, at this year’s IAA, is looking forward to showing a range of innovative product solutions on offer across the commercial vehicle market. Ranging from instrument clusters to apps, including download solutions, telematics and the brand new digital tachograph, the SE5000 Exakt Duo2.
Stoneridge is one of the largest CV instrument cluster manufacturer in Europe, and will be showcasing how it will shape the future of truck driver information systems through it FCD4, Fully Configurable Dashboard 4. Visitors will get the chance to demo the future of truck technology through a full display cluster, two rear view displays and an Android tablet working as a central information display.
Operators looking for the most user-friendly tachograph on the market should also make their way to see Stoneridge’s recently launched SE5000 Exakt Duo2. In addition to the existing benefits such as the “One Minute Rule” and real-time updates and countdowns on drive and rest times, it has a wealth of new features. Fleets will be pleased to see Working Time Directive (WTD) calculations that have been added as a new warning screen in the Duo technology. This will keep drivers more informed, helping to reduce infringements and costly fines.
Commenting on the importance of the IAA, Kent Pålsson, VP Product Management & Marketing, said, “We are excited to return to this year’s IAA and look forward to meeting both existing and potential new customers, to showcase our cutting edge technology and help find the best solutions for them, many of which can save both time and money.”
Other stand highlights include two free tachograph apps – the Duo Mobileapp shows real-time updates on Android smartphones, and with the Tacho Center app you can wirelessly download digital tachograph data. Fleets will find out more about Stoneridge’s flexible tachograph analysis software, OPTAC3, and their range of download devices such as the digiDL remote download tool and the Bluetooth Tacho Link dongle.
