News from Continental: As part of an ongoing relationship with Continental Tyres, Go Goodwins agreed to assist in offering up to 250 supporters of Manchester City Ladies free travel to the recent FA WSL Continental Cup Final, getting fans to the game safely.
The Continental Cup is the FA WSL league cup competition, and was introduced along with the league in 2011. Following a number of highly contested rounds in which 18 teams competed, the final took place at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park stadium on 16 October, with Manchester City securing a 1-0 victory over rivals and previous cup holders Arsenal.
Geoff Goodwin, Director at Go Goodwins commented, “As the official provider of the England cricket team’s state-of-the-art transport at international games, we were really pleased to be given the opportunity to get involved with the Continental Cup. One of our most recent investments was in a Van Hool T916 Altano, team coach with televisions, tables, futura system, air conditioning etc. It seemed fitting to give our new coach its first outing at such a prestigious sporting event.”
Goodwin continued, “Many of our vehicles are equipped with Continental tyres and their customer focused approach is something we appreciate, as providing first rate customer service on every journey is our number one priority.”
