Composite material manufacturer Omnia has opened a new production facility complete with modern tooling.
The production site is near the firm’s current office in Nottingham. It includes advanced facilities such as a 3D Printer, welding/CNC capabilities and new staff to help run the production smoothly.
The firm is best known in the transport industry as a provider of a durable alternative for ply-lining. In a statement, the firm said, “The new facility will enable us to carry out more thermoplastic fabrication and accomplish our aim to manufacture one-off bespoke items utilising the materials we provide within a suitable time frame, and meet the bespoke requirements for the transport industry and the commercial vehicle market.”
