H. Parkinson Haulage’s trailers have been a familiar sight on Britain’s roads over the last 60 years. Traditionally the company transported goods for the paper industry however they have since expanded into a range of commercial sectors having invested over £2 million in infrastructure, vehicles, equipment and technology over the last three years. Headquartered in Preston, the company also has an additional five branches for warehouse, storage, servicing, repairs and distribution.
Paul Bratton, Director at SDC Trailers, said, “I am very pleased to continue our working relationship with H. Parkinson Haulage. SDC were the first manufacturer to introduce the 15.6m extended length curtainsider to the market back in 2011, providing operators with the ability to transport a higher volume of goods with one vehicle. As well as product quality and innovation, SDC strive to offer an exceptional level of customer service, ensuring customers get the best return on their investment.”
Manufacturing across four sites in the UK, SDC Trailers are set to increase their production levels to 200 trailers per week, in response to a high level of market demand. Continuing to focus on innovation and added value, SDC launched a new 15.6m extended length skeletal trailer earlier this year, which was also built under the UK’s longer length semi-trailer trial.
