Bed manufacturer Tempur UK has taken delivery of nine new MAN TGL 8.180 7.5 tonners for its door-to-door retail delivery operation.
The new vehicles are the first Euro-6 models on the fleet, and follow outstanding productivity and reliability from a number of existing Euro-5 MAN TGL lightweights.
Box bodies were manufactured and fitted by Newland Coachworks, supplied and maintained by Cordwallis at Heathrow.
“We have used MAN trucks for the past two years,” said Transport Manager Marilia Pinto, “and we have been very happy with the performance from the trucks and service support.
“They deliver striking on-road presence, reflecting our own image for high quality. MAN also provided an excellent whole life package as the basis for the Euro-6 acquisition. It made an easy decision when selecting the new fleet,” she said.
