European commercial vehicle registrations fell in November, ending a run of continual growth, says ACEA, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.
Demand for commercial vehicles fell 0.2% year-on-year to 152,744 units in November, in contrast to the 10.8% increase in October.
Registrations fell heaviest in Germany and France, dropping 9.1% and 2.9% respectively. However, Spain (13.3%), Italy (6.5%) and the UK (4%) saw registrations increase.
Heavy vehicle and medium heavy vehicle registrations tumbled 20.7% and 21.6% respectively, but light vehicle registrations climbed 4.8% in November.
Overall, for the January to November period, commercial vehicle registrations rose 8.8% year-on-year to 1.68 million units.
