Heavy haulage firm Collett Transport has taken on two DAF XF510 6×4 tractor units.
Both boast Superspace cabs, 16-speed manual gearboxes, spring brake cylinders on both rear axles, DAF’s Truckphone system and 12.9-litre, six-cylinder engines.
The Halifax-based operator, which provides transport for the oil, gas and construction industries, has fitted each of the vehicles with push-pull noses designed, engineered and mounted by its in-house team.
The new DAFs mean Collett Transport’s fleet now stands at more than 60 tractors and over 100 trailers.
