Fleetwood Grab Services has added fourth-generation Renault Trucks to its six-strong fleet.
Supplied by Renault Trucks South, the 32-tonne Range C440 8×4 with ABBA Predator body and Epsilon M125 Classic crane is an addition to the four generations of eight-wheelers already on the fleet, joining a 95-plate Renault Maxter and four Renault Kerax.
Des Fleetwood, owner of the Reading-based grab loader company, said, “I’ve always been happy with the build quality of Renault Trucks and I still have a 1995 Renault Maxter workhorse going strong that has done over 750,000 miles on the original engine, gearbox and axles.
“As well as being company owner I also still work on the trucks and can see a definite improvement in the Euro-6 model which feels tougher, and the height clearance is also good.”
The Range C is used for general grab work for local authorities, utility companies, main contractors, builders, developers, local tradesmen and the general public across Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
