Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has a struck a deal to supply commercial vehicles to Network Rail.
Britain’s foremost rail operator is taking on 312 Volkswagen vehicles for its engineering team, comprising of 124 Amaroks, 168 Transporters and 20 Transporter Kombis.
Each vehicle supplied has been carefully selected for the business area it will operate in, with many featuring specifications to make life on board more efficient for drivers.
Steve Duffy, Business Support Manager for Network Rail, said, “With more than 20,000 miles of track and thousands of rail assets to maintain, the team requires the best products and support to deliver very complex jobs.
