Essex-based recycling, recovery and waste management specialist PF Ahern has put its first Renault Trucks rigid into action.
The 32-tonne Range C430 8×4 joins the company’s 20-strong mixed-fleet of DAF, Scania, Volvo and Renault Trucks vehicles, and has been put to use collecting and delivering waste containers across the Essex area.
Resources Manager Tony Anderson said, “The Range C went on the road just before Christmas and so far, so good. It’s early days, and too soon to give figures, but fuel economy is certainly looking promising.”
